Dockside Machine & Ship Repair is committed to maintaining a safe and healthful working environment. Safety is the highest priority of every aspect of our business and management will provide all necessary safeguards, programs, training, and equipment required to reduce the potential for accidents and injuries. We have developed and implemented a comprehensive Safety Manual and Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) which is designed to prevent workplace accidents, injuries, and illnesses.
It is understood that a company-wide safety culture is critical for the continued safety of all employees. All employees strive for excellence through efficient work habits and skillful performance; with a combination of well-planned processes. While working in tight coordination with our customer’s site management and safety team, we actively work to identify and eliminate job site hazards to create the most efficient and safe task procedures.
